Communications · Social Media & Content Strategist

What does it mean to have 20+ years in digital & communications?

For me, it means being an early adopter — present at each stage as the internet transformed how we communicate. In the early 2000s, I was building websites in Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver. I worked as an instructor at a computer training center, teaching adults twice my age how to use Microsoft Office and build databases — helping them take their first steps into digital work. At the same time, I was part of the first wave of online communication through AOL and Hotmail, when receiving an email or instant message felt revolutionary.

And yes, I had a Myspace page!

As the web matured, I embraced blogging on platforms like Blogger to connect with communities through long-form storytelling,

while also experimenting with wiki pages as collaborative spaces where knowledge could be created and refined in real time.

That early immersion gave me a foundation not just in tools, but in the principles of digital communication — accessibility, adaptability, and community engagement. Over two decades, I’ve carried those lessons forward into today’s landscape of social-first campaigns, analytics, and short-form content, always staying at the edge of what’s emerging. Having 20 years in digital means I understand where the field has come from, and I know how to adapt as it keeps evolving.

“I am not anxious to be the loudest voice or the most popular. But I would like to think
that at a crucial moment, I was an effective voice of the voiceless, an effective hope of the hopeless.”
– Whitney M Young Jr.

I am proud to have maintained a longstanding partnership with EBLM for nearly five years, having cultivated a relationship with the founders spanning nearly a decade. During this tenure, I assumed responsibility for conceptualizing and executing their brand identity, inclusive of logos, website development, content creation, and social media strategy.

Furthermore, I spearheaded the establishment of their online retail platform, meticulously curating its design and product selection to align seamlessly with their overarching brand narrative. For an immersive experience, I invite you to explore their website by clicking on the images above.

As of 2025, they have downsized to the main website only.

We still maintain this small online course for racial unity which i created for them.

From 2017 to 2021, I had the privilege of residing in the enchanting realms of Southeast Asia, with Vietnam holding a special place in my heart. The allure of the region was simply irresistible, and I became impassioned by the idea of sharing this hidden gem with  travelers seeking adventure and luxury (or not) at the best prices. This passion culminated in the creation of Travel Genie Asia, a bespoke luxury and ultra-luxury travel agency. Affiliated with the prestigious US-based Signature Travel, renowned for curating the epitome of global luxury experiences, we elevate journeys to an unparalleled echelon. Whether your desires beckon you to the farthest corners of the world or the most coveted destinations, consider your every wish my command.
